Flight itinerary for your Singapore tourist visa โ real data, instant delivery.
Singapore's immigration is among the strictest in Asia. Officers verify your return or onward travel at Changi Airport โ without exception. Get a real-data flight itinerary before you fly, not after.
What you need to know
What is a flight itinerary โ and why does Singapore's ICA require one โ even for visa-exempt arrivals?
Singapore enforces departure evidence at two separate checkpoints: the airline checks for return travel before you board your origin flight, and Changi immigration checks it again on arrival. This applies to visa-required applicants and visa-exempt travellers alike. For ICA visa applications, a flight itinerary showing both inbound and outbound routing is a required upload. For visa-exempt nationals, airlines serving Singapore routes โ Singapore Airlines, Scoot, IndiGo, Emirates โ are contractually required by ICA to verify return travel before departure. Either way, you need a credible itinerary with real flight numbers and IATA codes before you board.
What a flight itinerary is
A formally structured travel document produced from live aviation data, showing your arrival into Singapore Changi Airport and your onward or return departure โ with real flight numbers, airline IATA codes, and accurate airport identifiers for every leg. It is produced as immigration documentation, not as a booking or ticket.
Why not just buy a real ticket?
Singapore's tourist visa refusal rate reaches 25% for certain nationalities. Buying non-refundable return flights before visa approval means potentially losing hundreds of dollars on a refused application. A Flightinary itinerary costs a small fraction of that โ with no financial exposure at all.
Does Flightinary's itinerary work for Singapore visa submissions?
Yes. The itinerary uses real-time GDS aviation data โ the same data source that Singapore's ICA systems and airline departure control systems reference. It shows real flight numbers, valid IATA airport codes, and a properly structured route, formatted to meet ICA documentation standards.

How your nationality affects your Singapore tourist visa application
Singapore's visa decisions are nationality-driven. Many Western and high-income-country passports receive a 30-day visit pass on arrival without any prior application. For visa-required nationalities, ICA scrutinises the application through a combination of financial proof, home-country ties, and travel history. Know where your passport sits.
| Passport | Refusal rate | Interview req. | Min. bank balance | Avg. processing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ๐ฎ๐ณIndia | ~10% | Not required | SGD 1,500+ | 3โ5 business days |
| ๐จ๐ณChina | ~8% | Not required | SGD 1,500+ | 3โ5 business days |
| ๐ง๐ฉBangladesh | ~15% | Not required | SGD 2,000+ | 5โ7 business days |
| ๐ณ๐ฌNigeria | ~25% | Not required | SGD 3,000+ | 5โ7 business days |
| ๐ต๐ฐPakistan | ~20% | Not required | SGD 2,500+ | 5โ7 business days |
| ๐บ๐ธUSA | Exempt | N/A | N/A | Visa-free 90 days |
| ๐ฌ๐งUK | Exempt | N/A | N/A | Visa-free 30 days |
| ๐ฆ๐บAustralia | Exempt | N/A | N/A | Visa-free 30 days |
๐ด High refusal rate โ Nigeria (~25%), Pakistan (~20%)
For Nigeria and Pakistan passport holders facing significant ICA scrutiny: build the most comprehensive application possible. Financial documentation should span 3โ6 months and clearly show sufficient funds โ not just the minimum. A sponsorship letter from a Singapore citizen or PR, combined with their bank statements and NRIC, is one of the strongest additions to a borderline application.
๐ก Medium refusal rate โ Bangladesh (~15%), India (~10%)
For Bangladesh and India passport holders, document your home-country ties methodically. ICA wants confidence that you will leave Singapore at the end of your stay. A clear employment letter with an explicit return-to-work date, property documentation or a tenancy agreement, and a Flightinary itinerary showing your confirmed departure from Singapore address the three main areas of concern.

Stay rules โ explained
How long can you stay in Singapore?
Singapore grants most tourist visitors a 30-day Visit Pass stamped on arrival โ this can sometimes be extended to 90 days for certain nationalities at ICA's discretion. Visa-required nationals receive their approved duration in the visa sticker. All visitors must exit by the stamped date โ Singapore does not tolerate overstays.
Days standard Visit Pass
Most visa-exempt and visa-holder arrivals receive a 30-day Visit Pass stamped at Changi. This is the baseline duration for tourist visits.
Days for select nationalities
Certain nationalities (USA, UK, Japan, etc.) may receive up to 90 days on the Visit Pass. The duration is at the ICA officer's discretion.
Visa application fee
The Singapore tourist visa costs SGD 30 (~$22 USD), paid at time of application. This is the consular fee; agent service fees are additional.
